Whilst checking my catch can today I managed to snap the black plastic pipe that runs from the front of the intake manifold on passenger side to some sort of device (not sure what it is) on the drivers side. What I want to know, is if this can just be replaced with a length of hose and a couple of clamps, or do I need to buy a replacement? I have posted photos of it, and whilst the fancy connectors on each end look like they do something, on closer inspection they don't seem to serve any purpose.

That's for the fuel tank/charcoal canister purge valve, you can buy the ends that just have a plain hose barb then replace the plastic hardline with some fuel proof hose.

Thanks IJ. Would they be a Holden specific item, or can you pick them up for any auto shop ie Supercheap, Autobarn?
