Let me preface this by saying I know nothing about TT kits but at that price I suspect they'd have to be Chinese turbos and they don't have a good reputation.

Pro boost turbos but the option is there to upgrade to Garrett.

Surprisingly, Both me and my dad have chinese turbo's on our drag cars and both run sub 9.5 second passes (dad's in to his 2nd year/season now). I think the quality of the turbo's is pretty good now a days. Sure your not getting ball bearing performance from them but they do work. I've still got 2 brand new garret gtx35 turbo's still sitting in a box. For each 1 of them I could have bought 4 chinese turbo's.

IF your not looking to squeeze every ounce of power out the combo then they are a reasonable trade off.

bear in mind that our cars don't see nearly as much hours as a road car would, just more boosted running.

Proboost turbos have a bit of a following for being of pretty reasonable quality. He buys the units in and rebuilds/rebalances them here before sale. He had CNC'd GTX style options etc as well.

Remember you need to add a fuel system to suit, a clutch or a auto that can handle it etc exhaust work, gaskets..

The only thing would be the air intake setup, turbos dislike having to pull intake from a long distance. It seems they have tried to address it by increasing the volume available to the front of the turbo.

You still wouldn't get change from 10K if you did it yourself.
