The display for the radio has gone blank, radio and all other functions still work fine.
Have had local Holden look at it and they advise there is no DCTs for this problem and it possibly a wiring issue with the fascia and recommend having a new fascia installed at a cost of $2668.00 plus labour of $ 105, ----yes that is two thousand six hundred and sixty eight dollars!!!!

Needless to say I did not order the part---- any ideas or suggestions

Wife's VZ display on the factory radio did the same and the price from Holden was just plain stupid. I pulled it down and had a look and there was a small rubber block (for lack of the correct name for it) with carbon tracks on it to transfer power from then unit to the display. I cleaned up the contacts and I could manipulate the face plate into a position and get the display working however for some reason I could not get it to line up and work when the unit was installed. Maybe it is a similar issue? If so I'd say someone with a better understanding than I of such things could get it to work. The fix for me was buy an aftermarket unit plus install a reverse camera. Problem solved.
