The time has come for me to consider a more family orientated mode of transportation so i've decided to put the old girl up for sale. Alot of information and pics can be found here; http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?134828-New-addition-to-the-family-2005-CV8Z&highlight=cv8z+monaro - the pics in this thread even though they are a couple years old now, the car hasn't deteriorated at all. I'll take some new pics now that the weather has (hopefully) settled down.

Car: 2005 Holden Monaro CV8Z - the last of the last... Devil Yellow.
Motor: 5.7L LS1, Higgins CNC ported heads, Comp 224/230 cam, New comp lifters, new lifter buckets, new Mellings HV oil pump, new moly pushrods, 1.75" ceramic coated SS DF headers with extra bung welded in for permanent wideband. Dual SS 3" DF system to the rear, stock tips put back on to keep it looking factory. Full custom EFI Live tune performed with the top end done by Sonny when he had Marranos - 302RWKW. Cruising it does 10L/100 on a trip last year to Victoria and back. I don't lock ECU's, so the new owner can modify away to their hearts content (i.e. it has a blower cam, just needs a blower :) )
Trans: M12 - rebuilt 12 months ago, 1st and 2nd copped new synchros, new bushes, bearings and seals. The rest of the box was perfect. GM Motorsports shifter. Textralia X-Grip clutch
Diff: Rebuild by Crafts approx 24 months ago. 3.9 gears. G-Force axles.
Suspension: All radial bushes replaced with Nolathane. The shocks are 2500kms old, all round (Monroe GT's) and I raised the ride height back to stock with VZ R8 Clubsport springs. The lowered springs will go with the car.
Wheels: Speedy Cheetahs. Tyres are about 5000kms old. The original CV8Z rims will go with the car depending on sale price. They were removed by the first owner when he was delivered the car and put into boxes.
Body: Braid brake lines, Black chromed badges to give it more of a subtle look than the silver ones. Interior is fantastic! I hit the leather with leatherique each year to keep it in good condition. The sunroof was replaced under recall by Webasto, no leaks. Has factory bluetooth integration and the Vlad iPod integration put into the headunit. I have a permanent wired Techedge Wideband infront of the shifter. I also have a rear glass diffuser that came on HSV's that I painted in 2k Devil Yellow that needs to be glued on. It will be included.
Mileage: 201,000kms. First 150,000kms were Sydney / Canberra by the previous/first owner for work. When I did the engine work back in Nov '11, the cylinders still had cross-hatching in the bores, I even remember Sonny looking at me with a "WTF" look when he saw the mileage vs dyno graph.
Price: $25,000 as is or LS1'ers.
Contact: PM me here.
Will be going on carsales later on in the week, but giving members first dibs because i'm a nice guy :D
Spares: All 4 CV8Z wheels, spare 1Mb ECU (unlocked), original airbox setup, original oil pump, pushrods etc...

This car was one car that I seriously considered (back then) keeping until I died, however I met my wife and we now have a 6 month old baby so the sale is legitimate. I'll probably replace it with a VE SS Sportwagon or SSV Redline sedan so may entertain a swap with cash adjustment either way.

Here's the car back when it was lowered and as mentioned i'll grab updated pics and put them up as soon as possible.

Pics from 11:30am today after a scrub to show exact condition it's in today vs a couple years ago. Note, the lowered springs go with the car, as does the original wheels etc.... Can't build a 300rwkw car cheaper, but as mentioned, times change and life changes so i'm on the hunt for a VE Clubsport/SSV/Redline to replace this.
