Hi all who has done a rst mcleod twin plate into a vz /vy ?have u shimmed the gm slave?

Haven't done a Mcleod but reckon the crush should be checked on every install myself!

I installed the Mcleod RST twin plate, and the Mcleod Billet steel flywheel in my VZ L76 6.0L, factory OEM slave, didn't require a shim when I measured it per the instructions that came with the clutch.
I wouldn't guess it, measure it.
Couple accurate steel engineer rulers, makes it easy to measure, can buy them in bunnings.

From what Ive read & heard nothing but great things about these clutches, terrific clamping force with an oem feel :goodjob:

Cheers for the feedback guys .yeah there supose to be mint.i did the measurement this arvo mine is a 5.7 and i got once all worked out need a 3mm spacer behind the slave.ill double check tomorrow before putting together.how was your enganging gears etc mate no dramas??

Measure 3~6 times then go ahead lol
done this many times and currently run an RXT twin with Mcleod ali flywheel and also their adjustable billet slave.
