Hi guys, this is the first time i have posted and need a bit of help. I have had my 2011 6.0 VE SS series 2 for about 4 years now. It is a Victorian ex police persuit vehicle and after 2 years decided on a Sureflo aftermarket exhaust for it. I chose a 3" 304 stainless steel catback systen, i also bought a OTR CAI for it. All went well until i had 4 people in the car and hit a big dip in the road. It sounded like it had ripped the exhaust right off! This happened lots ofntimes, dips, bumps, speed humps etc.
This wasnt the only problem, it was droney when the AFM cut in at low revs. So i removed the exhaust and its been gathering dust in my shed for 2 years now. I really would love to refit it but no one in the town is game enough to refit it so it sits higher. Standard exhaust sits 150 off the ground, sureflos sits 90 ml.
I think my suspension is std but it seems a bit low as i scrape kerbs with the front spoiler when i park.

So do i firm up the suspension, and if so what is best? Maybe just sell it.....

might need a set of new shocks in it, how may km's?

Exhaust cant comment on surfloe but with afm all performance exhausts tend to drone, get a tune

Cheers mate, its done 95000 kms and i had a tune to fix dash light going off and only had afm cut in after 80 kms, so the drone is only when deceleration atvlow kms so i could get that fixed with another tune but after i refit exhaust.
So i need advice on the best shocks to fit that will stop it dipping when fully loaded.

You can just get the AFM turned off if you don't want to fork out for a full tune.

With 95k the original shocks are probably done, just get the standard FE2 shocks, probably some one selling some lowkms ones on ebay gumtree

Shocks won't stop the dipping out on load alone, spring rate & correct shocks/bump stops are the answer ;)
