As per my previous thread I'm trying to work out the best way of getting 4 20" SV forged rims and tyres from Sydney to Melbourne and to do that I need the weight (although given the size I suspect cubic volume will be the critical factor anyway) but all the quote sites still want weight. I can find the weight of each tyre (google) but nothing on the rims except they're apparently about 5kg lighter each than a non forged 20" HSV rim. Can't find the weight of them either. :(

Does anybody know the weight of an individual SV forged rim or even the weight of a rim with tyre please? (Preferably the 9.5" rear.)

Wonky,

I just weighed a bare 20x9.5 SV wheel and it was 13.6kg. Wrapped in bubble wrap. Seems about right as it it a touch heavier than the 19x10s on the M and thet are 22lbs. This was the optional SV wheel for Gen Fs. The 7 double spoke style. I can weigh a front with a knackered Conti 5P if you want. Ask now because I am away for the next few days...

Ok, 23.7kg for a front fitted with a 255/35 20.
