You would think Holden would have to pay us and donate the factory to the people ..... after all the Australian money they squandered due to GM head quarters not being serious on exports like Toyota was in Victoria.
Problem was GM didn't want GMH to succeed so they got their wish.

I'm not surprised, they are not the brightest lot.
Last time I was there i asked the Girl at the local HJ where the Holden factory is for shits and giggles.
She had no idea it was down the same road a bit further.
It was the largest employer in the area and as a local she did not know!
Shocking isn't it.

But they certainly will feel the pain of unemployment, that is certain.
