Door/Window painted trim

Hi all,

Any suggestions on how best to restore this painted area of my VU SS door/window trim?

I've touched it up a few times now using a spray can and small brush. End result is good, but as this area goes up and down with the window glass, the touched up area gets rubbed away over time. Both doors have the same issue.

You might have to disassemble the door frame and have them painted professionally with a clear coat included.

Hopeful it can be sorted effectively without needing to disassemble.

Not as yet, figured the forum was the best place to start. Usually find a solution here :)
