I know its not a V8, but we're all (mostly) adults here.

I've been toying with the idea of a project recently, I was "thinking" of building the V6 Commodore Holden should have - I felt the 6 should have got something better to send it off with. Something along the lines of a VF 1 or 2 Calais V V6 doner, and build an SV6 "V Redline"

So I need to start putting together a few things to see if this can grow legs. Can I source these engines in Australia? Were they used in anything other than the Caddy? LF4 would be ideal, but impossible for google to find. Does anyone know if I can get tech specs so I can compare the LFX and LF3 measurements - kind of important, if she don't fit game over.

And before you all say "you should've just bought a V8!" that is not the point of this exercise.

To get a LF3 or LF4 twin turbo engine, sourced 2nd hand from the US, that in itself would be difficult / costly...

Also GMPP don't even list these LF3 / LF4 crate engines new from my quick search.

To install it, setup and get it running in a VF would be a nightmare, and cost Absolute Crazy Coin......

If you want a Turbo 6, just buy an FGII G6E Turbo, Zero Hassle, heaps Easier / Cheaper...

FYI... here is the complete 2018 GM line up in V6...

Yeah, I suspect the LF4 is the engine 888 are playing with in their sandman.
