Hey fellas, I know my ABS module has shit itself, it went out a month ago. Fuel and temp gauges don't work and it beeps like crazy and lights up everything upon start up. Std ABS fault behavior I'm led to believe. I've been meaning to change it for a working one.

My question is, will it stop the thermos coming on? Because I have an overheating issue now. I've changed the thermostat today and when I topped up the coolant and let it run, I noticed the fans didn't come on at all..even when it got to 105 (I have a scan gauge thats working)

Please help. It's doing my head in

When ABS module goes it puts noise on the CAN Bus, this kills every thing, fuel guage, lights, locking, if it gets bad enough (Which it will) it may not even start. Not sure what model you have, but changeover units can be sourced from BURSON's. Even repaired change over are not cheap, cannot get new as not available anymore. ( Mine was for a VZ). Easy to change doesn't take long at all. Short term have ignition off and unplug ABS module at module, wrap in plastic to keep water out. BEWARE you will have no ABS or TRACTION control. Steve.

Hi fellas,
Another problem had raised its ugly head... My transmission won’t change into top gear, could this be because of the module? Being that the transmission is electrical I thought it could be causing it. Or am I up for a new transmission?
Btw; Im picking up a module on Tuesday
