Difillipo centre resonators change?

Has anyone removed the centre resonators and replaced with smaller hotdogs on a VE VF 3" Difillipo system before, my VE is cammed, alternative anyone tried a different rear muffler...

What are you trying to achieve? Make it louder, quieter, deeper, etc?

Cant say for the Difillipos, mine was custom with a magnaflow muffler but when I ditched the rears for straight pipes it was quiet a bit more aggressive, droned a shitload though

Car already got the dpe on it before I wasted $4450 but thought id get something unique so I thought , the rubbish custom exhaust exhaust tech sent over 3months ago, wouldn't fit my VE and the fabrication so bad on the centre section it was a no go. As for obtaining my coin back on it, exhaust tech have shut, and I've since sold parts of the exhaust off to recoup some coin back the only thing that fitted was the pacemaker headers , had my dpe system put back on so costly exercise

Mate, after all that I would be inclined to just leave the DPE exhaust as it is! :lol:

Which DPE system? If it's the Big Boy system I've heard a few cammed VE/VFs and they're fkn loud!!! Sound tough though!!
