I have a WL Caprice V6 which is giving me trouble starting.
I turn the key to start but the starter motor doesn't do anything even after several attempts. There is no signal from the ECU to starter relay. I can get it to start by applying 12V to the starter solenoid.
Weird thing is that once I've done that, I can turn it off and it usually starts with the key immediately afterwards. The next day though, the problem happens again.
I've seen the problem on another vz V6 but I never heard the solution.
The obd scanner shows an error of p0700 but I don't know if that is related. The car has been unused for about 2 months and the battery was flat until I charged it
Anyone have any ideas?
