Hi all just after a little help om my SS ,the power steering last friday out of the blue just started groaning really badly all sorts of shuddering through the wheel and the noise is horrible..

I have replaced the hoses that connect the cooler near the Rad a few months back as i have a massive leak didn't run out of fluid but was close pump got noisy that day ,i pretty well lost all the fluid when i changed them anyway ,i refilled the system no noises no bubbles nothing all good until now ..
There is bubbles in the system after going over things again this arvo i found 2 hoses that where loose and need replacing i will do that this week ,i have tightened them up and seems to have helped but the pump is noisy not as bad as it has been and no noticable bubbles in the res..

I do have a new pump ordered as well ,i have replaced the water pump and the tensioner pulley all belts and coolant and hoses the power steering pump only started its noise after i did all of this bloody cars ,getting things done before we drive to QLD if its not one thing its another ..
Is there anything i may have missed ..

Thanks ..
Wayne..

Next rear main and the engine mounts and the sump gasket ..I am not doing those ..

What I normally do after emptying/changing fluid or changing hoses on any PS vehicle is jack up the front so the wheels are off the ground, engine running with PS res full is turn steering wheel lock to lock about half dozen times to ensure all air is out of the system.
