Picture 47/47 shows 2000 rpm at 100kmh. A bit lower than my 1800 at 110. I checked the Grange specs and it says a 3.07 final drive and 245/35/19s which is roughly the same as my 225/55/16s, maybe there was an optional 3.7 diff or something ...

That rpm(2,000)/speed (100kpm) matches a 3.45 diff. Same combo I've got in my Monaro

My vh is fitted with a vp v8. The auto came with the motor. 235/40/18" tyres, 3.45 diff. 100 kph = 2300 rpm. Perhaps the overdrive is a different ratio in later models.

I wouldn't mind it either (frankly) not being a balls-out kinda guy

but I do love the WK and WLs

I expect they will become collectable soon (well, before the VE+ cars) so I perk up whenever I see a nice unmolested one
