I replaced my alternator in my VZ ute 5.7 with a Bosch one and the plug was different and I change it. But the new alternator is putting out 15.3 volts, is this too high, comes down to 13/14 volts when idling but goes to 15.3 on the HWY and stays there.
Do you think its safe to drive or send it back.

Sounds within spec's to me. Anything more than 16 would be a problem though.
