VE SS Warped Front Rotors & Discs. Replacement recommendations??

Hi All,

I've got a VE SS and the front rotors I understand are warped (supposedly a common problem with VEs).

I've been holding off on the next scheduled service but now considering replacing the rotors and pads myself given how straight forward it looks.

I'd appreciate recommendations for replacements of standards rotor and standard brakes? Car has a few mods but nothing that requires increased stopping power (I dont want to upgrade to the point my rims dont fit).

So what can I upgrade to to give best performance as 'standard' goes?

Yes T3's are a good rotor.

Look at doing maybe something like the braided lines as well, I tried new rotors and pads, but it still wasn't quite enough for me.. The Braided lines will give the pedal a bit more 'authority' takes a bit of the squishyness out of it :), fairly cheap to do as well...

As an aside, I have the 4000 series on mine with the Hawk Ceramic pads, the standard HSV brake rotors lasted about 40,00K's, The dba'a have already done over 100,000 and still going strong !! Right around 31mm front.. I was having a laugh that I have changed tyres 3 times with the DBA's but only once for the original HSV stuff...
