Stock I think the 6.2 sounds better than Holden 6.0 V8. With exhaust modification which do think sounds best?
Lately I have seen a few modified 6.0's VE and VF Series I. I find they sound quite good. They can get a lower down tone. I can't remember hearing any modified VFII's, only stock. The modified 6.0 sounds better than stock 6.2 from I have experienced so far.

6.0 rhymes with "hero"
6.2 rhymes with "poo"
I think 6.0 sounds better

Horses for courses, depends what's done to it really. Surely you've heard plenty of HSV's with the LS3?

Talking about exhausts I Just bought a 2013 Redline and love it but I need an exhaust as it’s stock and bloody quiet any recommendations?

Twin 3" Manta or Di Filippo if you can find one. Might be one and the same soon, Manta bought them out recently.

I've had bolt on L98 VE SSV sedan, cammed L76 VE SSV ute and now blown LS3 VE Senator and with good old KPM 3" full exhaust they all sounded good, although the LS3 has the SLC version so isn't quite as deep sounding.
Many people commented that the ute was the best sounding VE they'd heard and although I'm biased I tend to agree. Rattled windows at idle yet was dead quiet at cruise. They're effectively the same motor, same firing order (very important to sound) so it's other factors which make the difference.
