The time has finally come to sell my turbo stroker VY SS. It’s a tough car I just don’t have the time to enjoy it anymore unfortunately.

Sold with rego but no RWC chasing $40,000 but open to serious offers (comes with heaps of spares)

Have owned the car for nearly 12 years. It’s a 2003 series 1 black VY SS. Ive done most of the work myself with some help from a local shop (except the machining, tuning etc.). I have a full build thread on here as well too see my work.

only difference is you can just notice the black intercooler now.

Would suit someone who likes to tinker and work on there own car.

Bought it as a stock manual, then went 383 A4, then went 2 speed and added a hair dryer and now makes 453KW on 9.5PSI

Done 148XXX ks (less than 10,000 on the refreshed motor) Have receipts, build plans and documents on almost every part in the car.

Howards cam 246/258 0.625 lift 113+4

241 higgins cnc'd and shaved heads (setup to about 11.4 comp)

PowerBond 25% underdrive pulley
Ported and polished throttle body
Catch can, rocker covers and turbo comp housing all powder coated black
Aircon has been removed

Speedflow and aeroflow fitting throughout

Driveline:
Powerglide (Raceglides Pro-brake) good for 1000hp +
TCI Transbrake
TCI flexpate
B&M ratchet shifter
Custom made 3200 converter by Pro convertors (tight)
2 piece driveshaft built by GJ drivelines
Sonax billet yoke
Big PWR trans cooler and smaller PWR PS cooler

Billet pinion yoke with hardyspicer flange
300mm 2 piece axle stubs

Eboost sits in center console and can be hidden (with trans brake button)

Surge tank in the boot
2 x 044s

-8AN hardline feed (factory became the return)
FAST fuel rails
Xspurt 2000cc injectors
Aeromotive FPR
Tuned on pump E85

Brakes/Suspension:
King SL’s in the front
Lovells Sport Low in the back (less than 500k old, I put slightly higher springs as its rides a bit better)
Monroe Shocks
DBA T2 slotted rotors front and rear
QFM HPX pads front and rear
Few Nolathane bushes throughout

Exterior:
Car is straight, never been in a single accident
Black original paint in good condition… Does has some small marks her and there but overall I would consider it pretty tidy being a black 19 year old car. Its been garaged since the day I got it.

No spoiler
Debadged

Interior:
Its tidy but front seats starting to show their age
Black leather
Was original cream top half but changed to black
Black micro suede pillars and seat pockets
Custom speedhut revolution gauges (match factory cluster) oil pressure and trans temp

Rockford Fosgate Punch 6.5” coaxial rears
