News from the creek - reports of an 11.6 @ 118mph for "Criso's" 382 combo...they've made a few adjustments and looking to pick up another tenth or so tonight. PLANB's cold air pickup helped a little with et and mph so I hear....thanks Pete.
On ya Criso.

Not such a good night for me with some valve spring issues.

Spacey, after all these years, your not getting the bug too hey? ;)
C&V's SV8 ran very well on a wet shot. 1.61-60' 11.4's @ 117 MPH all night. Not bad really. :burnout:

LMAO Peter...I've been watching way to much ESPN I fear. :D
Be a pity not to grab some acceleration data for myself , so yeah ...sting'n to have a go at the 1/4.
I'm just waiting now for my bucket of bolts to get run in and tuned up . Once she's fully run in , I'll be seriously thinking about giving her a run. Might have to invest in some Hoosiers at some point and a set of Garry's 'get stuffed' axles :nyuk:

noticed a ba ford there in those photos how'd it go ?
Well I had an OK night - really struggled learning how to launch the M6 properly and still don't have it down pat.
After several runs in the low 14's improving by about .1 sec each time, I finally cracked a 13.8@101.22mph, but still with a pretty ordinary 2.24sec 60ft time.
I was running full street trim.
My last run of the night, had a much better start and pulled a 2.17s 60ft time, would have been a screamer of a run if I had got 3rd gear after 2nd instead of 5th ;-( Based on the improvements I saw in ET on earlier runs as my 60ft times improved, plus my highest mph on other runs which was 102, I reckon I should have got down to around 13.6 or maybe even 13.5 if I could drive properly.
What have others with an M6 ran in the past with similar mods to mine? Ie, exhaust, CAI, MAF pipe, Edit - 219rwkw on Sams Dyno?
A highlight of the night though was a line up against a stock manual XR6 Turbo - killed it!! Lol! Even with a 14.0 flat run, I was 5-6 car lengths ahead across the line - he was running high 14s all night and seemed dissapointed that all the LS1s were wasting him ;-)
Top night! Need to get back once more though and keep working on my starts - try and not burn my clutch out, change gears properly etc and I reckon I should get into the mid 13s - then I will be happy! Maybe I should wait until next winter when it will be nice and cold......
Cheers,
Beej
