Street Meetings cancelled at ECR

Just pulled this off the ARDC site.

Off Street Drags will no longer be conducted at Eastern Creek Raceway. Meetings set down for Wednesdays Nov 12 and Dec 10 have been cancelled. Drag race activity will now be at the new Western Sydney International Dragway. For new track info, contact WSID 02 9853 3254 or visit www.wsid.com.au


That's it folks it's all over for ECR and frankly I say good riddance, bring on the new track.

I will be up there for the ANDRA summer Nationals in FEB and cant wait! I may even come up a couple of weeks early for the 'Drag Combat' event and have a sneak preview of the track and conditions before the proper race meeting!

By then there should be a LOT more power under the bonnt of GMVPSS, so watch out for the red streak going down the track! running low 10's or even single figures!?!?!

also no races until next year at wsid was on the site a week ago or so. was suppose to be ready now but delayed due to weather ? i thought we've had the least rain ever, can't be rain delays

I'm gonna have to set up a second office out there I reckon or get them to set up a bed for me so I've got somewhere to sleep after the wife kicks me out of the house, for being at the drags too much. Like I need more events to attend! Oh, well at least I can get the car out for some laps again, god I miss bracket racing.
