Deciced to take the VX up to Heathcote for a run.Even though it rained most of the way it was sunny there as usual.

Anyway my best time was 13.76@104.53mph with a 2.30 60ft.
i thought i might get a 13.5 with a better launch but the diiff had other idea's and only wanted to spin one wheel when given some load:mad:

All runs were in the 103-104mph bracket except for when i forgot to turn the traction control off which knocked it back to 101mph.

Still pretty happy that though with limited mods which are:

Pacemaker 1 5/8" tri-y's
Some home made twin 2.5 into single 3" cat back exhaust including the pipes after the cats.On car when i bought it.
Modified HSV CAI
GTS MAF pipe
K&N air filter

VY SS rims with 235/40 Falkens

Now needs a Diff and tune.

Good work mate, your time and speed is pretty good for not having a tune. Once you have that done and the diff you should be good for low 13's.

Have you thought about changing your exhaust? I went from HM tri-y's and 3" single system to Difillipo headers and twin 2.5" system from G&D and picked up 3mph at the track...

Thanks Brett, yeah i want to change the cat back as the mufflers are almost gone then a tune and see what it can do then.

The diff will be fixed in the next few weeks.
