I noticed on the website http://www.dragcombat.com or http://www.autosalon.org/dc.asp that they are holding a class for Ford vs Holden (Class D listed down the bottom of the page). First round is listed for Feb 14th (Valentines day!) at WSID. Anyone from here competing?

I was going to head up when the first posted dates were in the next week or two as i was going to use it as prep for the SummerNationals on the 6, 7, 8th. Now that the Combat is the week after i am not staying up for the whole week and i am not going to drive back up a week later, so i am going to give it a miss this time.

Maybe the next Combat Big Red will come for a squirt and show the ford all about Holden Power!

Notice you can't run slicks with the holden V ford! Bastards. Was thinking of getting the old v6 out there. Still have to be 1 of 4 quickest though. Makes a difference on street tyres though. Looks like they don't want any quick ford or holdens to show up the imports.
I would qualify for level 3 ET1 dial your own but don't know about the slicks. Another problem is getting use to bracket racing. I'm only use to Eastern Creek street meets. Be good to watch though..........:bounce:
