Err, no Kiwi that was last year and it didn't happen anyhow.

Traction control is in but launch control (ie off the starting grid) is banned as are fully automatic upshifts and downshifts.

Engines must last the entire race weekend ie 800km, the engine covers are larger (more sponsor room) the front wing endplates can be larger and the rear wing can only have 2 elements.

There will also be no qualifying on Friday and the format for Saturday qualifying has changed. The bottom six teams (I think it is 6, could be 4) can also run a third car on Friday for testing purposes but they can't use an experienced driver.

Can't think of much more.

To elaborate on the 1 engine rule.

This year, if a team uses more than one engine during the weekend, they are penalized 10 places on the starting grid.

This creates an unusual situation, because if for example Schuey has an accident during practice and wants to change to his backup car, the team ARE allowed to swap the engine out of his crashed car into the backup car to avoid being penalized. (Obviously if the engine is damaged, they'll just have to use the backup car as is and cop the penalty.
