Ok, I noticed the options have appeared to upload avatar, but when I select "Custom Avatar", then browse and point at my pic, save changes, it uploads...then the original Edit Avatar page appears again with Do Not Use Avatar selected...??? Picture is definately less than max size and dimension, won't even take my old avatar back.

Is it me???

Other than not being validated? No :D

You now have to be a validated user to have an avatar.

Thanks for the reply least i know now. Maybe i shouldnt have deleted my old one, least i could have still used it.
