Well Done to K Mart and Rick Kelly on taking out the win well done!!

Also to Greg murphy from a shocker to grab 5th

but my Highlight Goes to Craig Baird and Team Kiwi Racing to grab 9th absolutley fantastic effort.

Down light stupidity of Todd Kelly wrecking Tasman Motorsports car by carlessly pulling out in front of him

I thought it was a great race and enjoyed the fight between Garth Tander and Craig lowndes at the end. Also great to see Rick Kelly take out his first individual race win.

just got back from EC and it was a great great day. Each race had something, the little aussie cars didn't even get of the start line without a real biggie that red flagged the whole thing. The 300km race was just awesome, Rick Kelly absolutely flew all the way around the course and was easily the driver who pushed it the hardest and stayed on the track (Skaife pushed really hard but over did it) the cheering between the Ford and Holden fans was all good natured and when Tander and Lowndes were dicing the crowd went OFF! Lowndes really charged at the end......I cannot believe the last 2 times we've been to the track it has bucketed down so much as to stop the race.....when was the last time that the same track in V8s was rained out in consecutive years??? and for all the Holden fans just keep praying for rain coz as soon as it started bucketing down the SBR cars were nowhere near as threatening, Ambrose stuggled with racing once he was in the pack and Ingall just steered around the track. Lowndes was the only Ford driver to give it a go. Worst part of the day was the promoters at EC ripping off fans big time, not only charging to get in but for also charging for Grandstand entrance this year which they haven't done before (last round last year was an AVESCO event and they charged a combined fee). cost $40 to get in and then another $20 once you were inside to get into the stand, not only no warning but also one booth open with one seller selling tickets to a stand that takes thousands...you can imagine the queues. Add to that another $20 bucks for access to the paddock and you've got $80 easily done, kids of any age also being charged to get into the stand......I'd complain less if they used the money to make it more enjoyable for the fans but they do the barest minimum and AVESCO couldn't care less.

Bit harsh on T. Kelly don't you think? If Ambrose hadn't pushed him off the track (unecessarily) the first time he re-joined, he never would have been near the Tasman car.

Well done to R. Kelly, top drive all day. Awesome battle with Lowndes and Tander, good clean racing in very ordinary conditions.

Skaifey needs to sort the rear end out on his car, but I'm sure he'll be back.

Stewards got it right with Todd Kelly....even he admits he got it wrong, only defence was he couldn't see a bloody thing!

For sure, Toddler was in the wrong when he rejoined the second time, but I think Ambrose could have avoided contact. Kelly was well onto the track when the contact occurred.

My opinion only, everyone is entitled to one.
