Came across an article on the news CLICK HERE FOR ARTICLE (http://news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,9529096%255E13762,00.html) then found the actual website GUMBALL 3000 (http://www.gumball3000.com/new/launch.htm) .

Sounds like a blast !!!!!

you might want to look out for the dvd called "Mischeif 3000"
it's based around a team of guys driving a race spec m3 in the gumball

looks like awsome fun

funny watching a copper trying to catch up to a porshe and just not having the speed to keep up

Hearing about a Ferrari getting booked at 195MPH!!!! and ending up in the slammer is even funnier.

Get the DVD, its worth the watch, there is even Oz footage of LS1's & Skylines doing some on-street drags :eek:

Yeah great DVD. Rediculas amount of very expensive cars. Its a joke between them to see who can get the most tickets........(Poor Poor audi).

Good viewing. There are two out by these guys now. I am going to get the second one.

Lol thats rite, i remember the quote by the guy in the Audi "We got a ticket for not stopping @ a stop sign, having a radar detector, radar jammer, 2 way radio, speeding. The only thing we dont have is a CB Radio which we can talk to the truckies with, they are ment to be helpful."

LMAO!!!!! i remember him also saying he felt ripped off because he had only gotten 3 tickets the day before, unlike his 6-8 a day norm :lol:

What about that little Beemer or Audi which gets sideswiped by a truck (off camera), the whole side of it is ****ed and got thrown into a ditch or something - and the cops said it was his fault for overtaking on the wrong side...

i'm pretty sure the two chicks were playmates, and they were in a beetle.

it's "unfair" if you get locked up over night..... some guys take cases of cash with them, just so they can bail out quicker and get back on the road!

The 2004 Gumball has just been run again...like a week ago. This year, they travelled from Paris, through Spain and Morocco and ended up in Cannes. Apparently the king of Morocco ORDERED the police NOT to pull them over. What a f@#ken cool guy. Also, there were supposed to be 5 Enzo's and 2 Pagani's in it. 5 Enzo's!!! F@#k. Me. Dead. Oh yeah the two stunners in the Mini Cooper. And yeah the Z3 which the truckie purposely side swiped as he tried overtaking on the shoulder of the road. I had to laugh when they showed the dash of the audi, every piece of electrical equipment you could think of, (less a UHF, which would have been smart). Its a good movie. I will be getting the new one. But yes I agree, watch it with a group of people.

Actually, it was a Merc. but it was the American race, not the european. So we were both kinda correct.
