Well got the mafless edit done last fri, by Sam, been driving 4 a week , and all i can say is WOW. :dance:

What has impressed me apart from the usual increase in power etc , is that my fuel economy has actually improved slighty, and thats with 3.9 gears, the power is incredible, and the response and the way it accelerates is awsom.

Went in with 187rwkw (already had cai, filter, exhaust, extractors and cats done )
Left with 229rwkw ( 307 rwhp )

For any one thinking of doing it and is worried about the money, all i can say is, its worth every cent.

My Ute is booked in for a Mafless and a RIPSHIFT Wednesday. So hopefully I will be :D Wednesday arvo. Shall let you know the result, hoping the RIPSHIFT lives up to the writeups.

I am booked in with sam in a couple of months... waiting for his custom CAI... He tells me its big step up... he has a custome box that goes straight from the front into a custome filter (long and thin) and straight into the throttle body... no bends :D

I think this is pretty much how the corvettes are setup... It makes allot of sense... he says he has tested a couple of protypes with really good results...

Well what can I say .... Ohhhh what a feeling !!!

I can now understand why everone speaks so highly of Sam, he is a rare find.

Swapped the diff for 3.9's went a mafless tune, Sam did the edit ....

.... 320HP at the rear wheels. The Monaro is now an aminal too :)


Sam and his crew are a pleasure to be around, and that good looking fella that also resides there ( read Pete, aka Plan B ) isn't a bad bloke either :lol:

Yep, Sam and his team are A1. My car has done 4000ks since it's tune and it feels like it just keeps getting stronger.

Started with 290hp and some average holden programed mapping at high RPM.

Dyno sheet scanned and mailed to Sams website, hope someone uploads it soon, the initial run graph is pretty poor as you will be able to see.

Had I have not seen Sam do it all with my own eye's, I would never have beleived the outcome. In finance we would refer to it as an acceptable investment !
