I was at the local Holden/HSV dealer today having a look at a black YII Clubby. The dealer told us that in the next couple of weeks they are recieving a limited edition Clubby. It is black with no grey highlights on the body kit (GTS Style) and has premium brakes, the centre binnacle, Touring 3 suspension from the R8, and the regular 18X8" Clubby wheels are finished in Shadow Chrome instead of Silver Sparkle. He also said it is for sale for the same price as a regular Clubsport. Not a bad buy I reckon.

Has anyone heard of these coming out or know anything else about them?

News to me, but it does sound rather nice, especially if the price is the same as a regular Clubbie. Mind you, if you've just ordered an R8 you may get the hump a bit. The bigger brakes + suspension + gauges, is more than 1/2 way to an R8.....

Interestingly I think HSV sales may have peaked a bit. Over here in NZ must dealers have stock for immediate delivery and you can get good prices on the harder to shift Coupe and Senator, I've even seen discounts advertised on base model Clubbies which is not typical by any means.

By the sounds of the package, it is an R8 but without the 19" rims, and the 18's are finished in Shadow Chrome anyway. I'm gonna keep my eye out for it and see if I can get some pics.

Nah mate, the dealer also said the VZ HSV's will also be 285kW because the GTS is still gonna be 300kW.

I have too many plans for the Maloo... :D :D :D

Found out also that the car comes with a HRT helmet mounted on a wooden base and signed by Mark Skaife and Todd Kelly. Sell for big $$$ on eBay!!!!!
