Just got a couple of new transponder keys for my vx from Mister Minit (on top Town Hall Station in Sydney). Their deal is 1 for $100, 2 for $160. Done on the spot & obviously, they don't need the car (as holden "require"). But, you really have to search hard for an outlet that does transponder keys as most don't have the transponder key reader.

Depend's on the dealer to i guess, so maybe not! How much to get a key cut? And the above includes that or just a new remote? The dealer i go to charges $70 for remote and program. ;)

Where I work we charge approx $55.00 @ remote & $38.50 to program if it is the same car we will program as many as you want (max 5 i think) for the same 1 of programing fee. only additional cost is each keyhead.
Please note I am talking key heads only not new blanks

You can get new ones on Ebay, programmed for around $70.00 I believe.

What is to stop the local locksmith taking a key
for himself at the same time that he does yours
