any chance of increasing the size limit on avatars

Hi,
I'm not so much interested in having one larger than 80x80, but I made this nice new animated gif then had to hack it to pieces to get in under the ~40k limit :(

Maybe an extra flag in the user profile that allows people to show larger avatars or not as well as the one to disable avatars altogether. That way dialup users can disable the larger avatars but keep the smaller ones.

If it's too trivial a request, no problem.... just asking

Have to be a moderator at the moment!!!! Although it would make a bit of a bonus to validated users I guess?????
I think the forum is still on life support at the moment, as in it is still transitioning over to the new software.

40K should really be plenty for an avatar (especially for all you peasant regular members :lol: :lol: ). Your avatar was 38K and I was able to reduce it by a further 10K in 2 minutes flat, without dropping frames and retaining 95% of the quality.
