They discontinued the surface prep :bash:

Just a quick question for those in the know. I had bulk bought the Meguiars Gold Class soap / surface prep / wax

Now they have finally discontinued the surface prep and i am buggered on what to use on those annoying swirls the pannel shop left when they resprayed the front bar. :doh:

the alternatives so far
1/ Meguiars Professionsl Swirl reducer : was told by the Meg help line that it is slightly abrasive and must be applied with a mechanical tool
2/ Scratch X : but have been also told it was milddly abrasive :doh: all i want is to clean the swirls. I have no bloody scratched
3/ Deep Crystan Surface cleaner : but was told it is milder then my old gold class and and probably wont clean the swirls.

Any recommendations on what to use or possibly another brand to look at for a good NON abrasive prep coat and a good wax

I used scratch x to get rid of swirls left on the bonnet by the pannel shop on my black SS and it got rid of some, but it wasnt until i used the Meguires 3 step system that the car came up beautiful and swirlless.
