Nice one Andrew! Is there any way you can share this article with those who aren't Autospeed members? (I'm a member and could read it).

You don't see many red VYII SS wagons around Tuggeranong where I live and work... I'll have to make note of yours to avoid being embarrased off the lights!! :p

I remember seeing the wagon at the last dyno day here in Canberra, and was blown away by the car. Since then a lot has be done to it, and I am hanging out to get a look-see at the new and improved wagon. Whenever i see a red SS wagon around town I look to see the back window. No luck so far though. Congrats on the article (whats next for the wagon????).

What's next? I'd love to build a stroker to go with it, but I'm trying to resist the temptation. Might put on a new exhaust as the current one is very restrictive, possibly HPC coat (or heat wrap) the intake from intercooler to TB (gets very hot), maybe some bonnet vents. Cripes, if only money grew on trees :)

Mate, I'd do the opposite. Rev your car at the lights and generally wind him up, then when he decides enoughs enough and blows you away at least you'll have fun watching him fly off into the distance (wind your window down so you can hear the blower and the screeching rubber!) :)

Congratulations on the article, your car sounds like a very nice put together beast.

It's a same Ford has no equivalent in the BA.

What would the 0-100 time be roughly on your car?

Couldn't say mate, but a little quicker than standard :) Stock they can do low/mid 6's, so somewhere in the 5's.

am I correct in assuming that your ss wagon has body coloured numberplates drew?

that's the only ss wagon I've seen in the Tuggeranong area.

Goggles_SV8, no I don't have body coloured plates, so not me. I hardly ever go southside, stick to the Northside I do ;) There is at least 1 other red ss wagon in ACT that I know of, have seen it a number of times on Ginninderra Drive, but always going the other way. Love to line him up!
