View Full Version : Selling cars on Ebay - Ya/Nah
Any had any experience, is it worth the trouble/effort?? or are you better off sticking to the other forms of advertising??
IMHO anyone serious about buying and isnt a complete jackass would like to check the car out before they buy it??
Does ebay let you do this? I was under the impression you just buy it as is..

In theory, you can check out a car from ebay before buying...... In practise, it all depends on how much time you have before the auction ends.
Ebay may be a good way of advertising the car cheap (especially if you dont actually sell it through ebay, then theres only a few $ of listing fees to pay), and maybe if you put a phone number on there, it'll get the car noticed a bit, and people interested... but finish the sale the old fashioned (non ebay) way :)

I've sold and bought cars using ebay and found it ok to deal with.
Sold a VS exec to a bloke in Melbourne a couple of years ago, and I bought a V8 VK Berlina a few weeks back.
Basically if the vehicle isn't as described there isn't anything forcing the buyer to hand over the cash.......
