Can someone give me a educated guess at to approx what times i should be expecting in my VR @ WSID tomorrow. Last run @ Sams dyno had me 126rwkw :confused:

Also what would you recommend for tyre pressure?? for a decent run?? just stock road pressue (32psi)??

You're running VX SS wheels aren't you Ryzz? Drop tyre pressure to 25psi, and keep dropping till you find the right pressure on the day.

HSV rated the VS2 at 15.9 in an auto............

I ran around 15 - 20 psi on our drag day in SA

Now im know your all wanting to know what i got........ :D

ET 15.537 @ 91.19Mph with a R/t of 0.301 and a 60' of 2.351. Ill post up the time slip later.

Yeh, I thought Ryzz had bought me a mud cake but then I realised it was a filter :D

Good stuff today Ryzz and remember there are a lot of new cars who can't beat your times (going of Wheels magazine times), like XR6 Falcon, Camry V6 Sportivo, Commodore S and numerous more fancied machinery. That's good going for a car 10 years old.

If we had more time we could've got the times down even further....just let williamt and I have some spanners and we'd remove the excess seating and panels, spare wheel etc....oh well, next time :D

Yeah id love to get my 60' time down a little, but im getting a very clean launch @ 3000 RPM slipping the clutch a little. Im thinking shifting a tad earlier from 2nd to 3rd will help instead of winding the top end out which doesnt have much left. Was shifting about 4700 on the last run.

Was shifting about 4700 on the last run.I was talking to Peter yesterday and he was telling me about deep staging where once you break the beam and you get the first white light just inch forward until you just hit the second white light,,,,therefore by the time you break the beam where it starts you might have a foot (?) of acceleration up your sleeve...worked for me
Has anyone tried to run on "normal" shift on the auto or used traction control?...or in D
I have the 3.9s in the diff and I was getting 200 km before I pulled up on the strip....just for fun...where else can you LEGALLY do 200 + :D
