Saturday Supercar races

Anybody here dissapointed at channel ten recently not televising the saturday race for v8 supercars. The first race for the last couple of rounds has been the most exciting and everybody has missed out on it. People from FF have been emailing ten on this issue

I agree, why not telecast the lot?? Cut RPM down to half hour on race day and telecast all three races.......

Channel 10's V8 Supercar coverage is to be totally honest, crap!

That is now 2 rounds in a row where we have missed the first race out of three!! It stinks if you ask me and there is alot and I mean a lot of annoyed people out there!

We missed all the races with action in it (Skaife Turning into Ambrose at Hidden Valley and Skaife turning into Richards at Barbagallo).

Lift your game ten! I just laugh when I see there slogan "The Home of Motosport".

I think the main reason they dont telecast the satruday race is because most people know the outcome already, as it is broadcasted on the news. They also have to fit the 3 races into a 2 and a half hour show. I dont know if they could maybe have a longer program to fit it in or not, but i believe it would good.

I dont rate how they dont let bigpond show the full telecast of the saturday race as shown on channel 10. If they dont telecast it on channel 10 on the race day, who is going to see the telecast? I know they replay it on foxtel but that isnt for a few days after.

We get a reply at 11 o'clock on sunday nights up here on channel 9!!
But I agree, they should show all the racing. It's only the biggest motorsport championship around here!!

Guess how many ads the motogp race had that night?????? only 2 from memory! And they were both less than 2 ads long and I think all 4 ads were public service announcements! Oh I forgot they love Valentino!!!!!!;)

At least I managed to sit through both televised v8 races this weekend. The last couple were so boring after half race distance I didn't bother to watch them too closely. Until they make the races more interesting, I don't care if they only show the best one out of the weekend.

The last couple motogp races however have been great viewing - as have the Konica races.

Just listening to "The Panel Beaters" on SEN 1116 & a listener rang in & complained about just this issue.

Crompton mentioned that they also copped a similar blast in the recent V8 Superstars and that the matter is being seriously discussed.

It is extremely likely that as of next year, the Saturday race will be shown late on Saturday night :)
