Hello all LS1 fans out there. I have had my SS Crewman 6M for 6 months and 12000 kms, and was wondering how many more happy (or not so happy) owners were out there. Luv em or hate em, I reckon that this vehicle is once of the most innovative solutions to our love of V8 utes and managing moving the kids etc at the same time. He goes hard when asked, uses about 11.5 litres per 100km city/highway, and can carry just about anything in the back. Not the easiest beast to park in tight spots, but I'm learning to walk a little further to the shops.
Anyone got anything to say about the SS Crewman?

I got my red SS crewman 6M in april and have done 8500klms and have loved every Klm. I dont have any kids I just liked the idear of having the extra seats in a ute. I agree about the parking issues. I also believe it handles great for its size. It tows my Sprint boat with ease. I will be getting a new clutch at the 10,000klm sevice because it is slipping. I was a bit disapointed that we got the 225KW engine instead of the 245kw engine but it still goes well. the tall gearing is a little anoying around town but is good on the highway. Has anyone lowered the rear of the crewman. I want to drop it two inchs to make it level but not sacifice ride of load carring abillity. does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to go. I was considering lowering blocks.

I get my SS Crewman this week, It's a Cosmo A4. It will serve duty as work truck, family runabout and tow truck for when i goto the drags.
I'm looking forward to getting it and some minor mods to make it more purposeful ;)

yeah that SVE one looks well nice. At the holden vs ford show in perth there was also a black crewman with a WK statesman front end fitted which looked even hornier. its somethng i'm considering for the future but with a gen4 if it turns out ok.
