The other night i was on the way toward eastern creek (last monday) and i pulled up next to what i think was a VS callis with illegal black tinted windows some nice 18'/19' wheels etc...

Any way, just before the light goes green a blip from a cop siren  stops my heart for about 2 beats :o , i started looking around for the blue and reds, then this VS launches, it was on the other side of the lights before i realised it was him so i launched, chased him down, whipped his butt big time but he still got my heart to jump!!! Good job who ever that was! :D

so illegal lol,,,..,,,

A few mates and I used to do that in an ET Turbo, strobe on the dash aswell...makes traffic easier...

Have blue strobes in my front indicators which are good fun on Motorways at night when people refuse to use the middle/left lane when travelling slower...

Yes, the old "pretend to be a cop" trick was quite popular in my day too. :)

My mate's old man had a brand spanking XE falc with steel wheels, looked like a D's car back in the day. Anyways on the weekends we'd pile in dressed in blue shirts with fake stripes, with a big spotlight plugged into the lighter socket, and pull people over with a simple headlight flash or for stubborn customers, a good spotlighting. Literally every second car would dutifully pull over as we did a flyby pissing ourselves laughing.

We became bolder with time; my supermarket trolley-boy contacts informed me of an upcoming gang-showdown in the local Hungry Jacks carpark. Naturally we suited up, grabbed the car and headed on down, driving slowly through the carpark spotlighting large groups of youngsters ready for battle.

They left soon after, word was that the fight was cancelled because "the damn cops turned up". :D

I once bought a thing called a Rainbow Horn from Autobarn as a present for my brother. It looked like a small CB radio inside the car and there was a small horn which went under the bonnet. It had several different sounds, including a police siren. It also had a few farm animal sounds. We got a few greasy looks by using the cow "moo" at an opportune moment.....

I don't think they sell 'em anymore.

However, a quick search on Ebay reveals this:

Sorry for doing that WORKEDVYSV8

only joking mate....

Heres a funny story for ya....

My mate use to work for a security company, and he use to get their company cars which where a brand new BA falcon with the stock rims so it looked axactly like a undercover cop car and it had a sticker down the the side on the doors which looked like a cop sticker aswell...

Anyway once we followed this Habib in his fully sick lowered car with 14inch rims, and wore our security jackets on which where blue, We made out that we where talking on the radio that was connected to our colars, we where pointing out to this guys car and making out we where typing on a laptop in the cabin... heheheeh this guy wouldnt stop looking at his rear view mirror for 10 kmins, and then all of a sudden pulled over lol

I need to grow up :) best fun I ever had..

LOL!!

I know a guy back in the VS days when his dad got a new V6 VS with dark windows etc and was a typical unmarked cop car look alike then.

Reminded me a bit when I had a 5l VS BT1 pack. Still current model back then and people would always drive slow if I would boot it up behind them.

He and a mate had fun one day when someone did something dumb in a FWD. They floored up besides him with a fake badge or something that resembled one. They pointed to him to pull over. He did. lol

They then laughed and yelled out 'Stop driving like a dickhead' then burned off.. Guys face in the 4WD? Priceless! + A codac moment missed.

Well these things happen when you are young I guess, was a real laugh to hear about it over a few drinks one night a few years back.
