Hey guys,

I currently use a good waterproof car cover but im after a portable waterproof car shelter (kind of like a tent or shelter etc) that I can drive the car under.
I cant afford a carport or gargage and the normal car cover can be a pain sometimes. :(

I have seen them on some american websites but im keen to find out if anyone uses them here and where they might be available.

Any input appreciated.

Cheers

If you find anything interesting mate let me know too. I've just (this week) moved from the comfort of a double-car garage to somewhere more or less outside. The SS is under a car cover but I'm not happy enough with just that.

Was going to pop down to supercheap this week and have a look, I'm expecting something pretty expensive though.. a friend said he seen one for $700 or there abouts. For me I think it might be worth while trying my hand with a sowing machine trying to make something if they are that expensive.

Try this site it is US based but they may deliver

http://wwwsales.net/garage.htm

Huge range of portable garages, canopies etc.
Family used to have one for our boat so I'll dig around and see if I can track down the supplier. Will keep you posted.

Just spoke to the old man who told me he had the canopy we had shipped from the U.S.

The websiet of place he got it from is
http://www.championcanopies.com/

We had a barn style one down near the beach, cost dad about USD170.00 plus shipping about 3 years ago from memory. Did take a bit of time getting here, but it worked a treat and stood up to some pretty savage weather.......................once we'd anchored it properly that is!!!
