My old man and I are seriously looking to purchasing a VX SS or a Clubsport R8 soon and we want to hire one before we decide..
Do any of you guys know where I could possibly hire one of them in Sydney for the day?
I know I hevent really heard about or seen any for hire but if any of you guys might know that would be great
I dont want to test drive from holden because they dont leave you alone after the test drive and force you to buy the car..
I just want to hire one and see how it is. Ive been in a LS1 before but my old man hasnt so I want to convince him with a drive in a LS1 if I can find a place to hire one
thanks :)

If you show enough interest to the dealer I don't see why they wouldn't lend you one for a day?
Otherwise you can come to Melbourne and have my Monaro for 1K a day!

I purchased both my VX II SS and VY II SS WITHOUT a test drive or even a decent going over at the dealers. Somehow I just knew i'd like 'em :burnout: (especially modified ;) )

as far as i know all you could hire is a statesman or an adventura, would be quite different to what you're looking to buy i suppose.

Must be better yards down here, the yard where I bought my 2nd hand VX SS from lent it to me overnight. Damn did I go through a lot of fuel in one night  .

If you are in Melbourne (which your not) you could try these guys:
http://www.monarent.com.au
Great service and rates, and as a lowly six owner it was pretty cool to get to roll around in a GTO for a day.

I wish that Monaro rent place was in Sydney - I'd grab one for a weekend just to upset my ex-girlfriend who loves them... :D

I am only 23 (22 at the time) and the dealer let me take the car for a couple of hours, i did have my wife with me though... We could have been longer but didnt need it... Tell em you will sign but you wanna take the demo for a couple of hours.. if they let a youngen like me talk em into it... (the poor demo coped a floggen! :D )
My friends, who are older, took the car over night before the signed to buy it...
