Window tint

Is 3m tinting still the best?, how dark have you gone?, how dark for a black ute?, whats a reasonable price?. Lots of questions, nothing too hard for all you guru's.

I got my tinting done at Solartint (in Canberra), was very happy with the results. The top of their line stuff was called ONYX. Got "Sandy" tinted with 35% on the front windows (max legal), and being a commerical vehicle was allowed to have 5% on the canopy... nice and dark (esp with the white paint), can't see in but you can see out... Cost me $230, lifetime warranty.

Hope this gives you an idea...

I've got 21% titanium metallic tint on all 4 side windws and rear windscreen. It was done by a tinter who tinted it at home for some extra dough. Cost me $200 for a top notch job. I've also recommended 25+ cars to this tinter guy and no one's had any complaints.
