Tried the search button ,tried various products and spoken to the Service Dept and several detailers with no success todate.

Anyone had success in removing ink from Leather and Vinyl.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try one of the big leather lounge manufacturers for advice - isn't it Moran or something like that? I have an idea metho does it, but it can also take the colour out too.

Try a bit of eucalyptus oil . Naturally , try first on a small out of sight area .

I dont like your chances of getting the ink stains out, with all the rubbing trying to get it off it will take off the colour. I have been down this path. However you can get the leather recoloured. I recently had a mob called Cure Care recolour some leather for me & it was spot on. The only problem is finding them cos they just moved from the factory next door to me. Try Artex 95254775 they may be able to help or Leather Master. Good luck hope you can get it off.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I dont know how I missed this one.

About 2 years ago when I first got my 147, I had window tint installed. The installer dropped his pen from his clipboard and it ran all over my front passenger seat. I tried about 5 different methods to clean it and nothing made it budge. I was going to have to replace the affected panels with new leather.

In the week or two before the car went in to get the panels redone, it was hot and I left the car out in the sun with the roof open and windows down. To my suprise and absolute joy all the marks were gone within one day. This was so unintentional but so incredibly fortunate as it was going to cost me over $500 to replace the affected parts of leather.

Give the UV a try. It worked for me.

Good luck.

Sounds good. You never know your luck.

I might have to wait till next summer to get some real hot days.

Talk to a drycleaning shop that you can trust as some of the volatile solvents they use could do the trick without harming leather plus they might have experience dealing with leather jackets etc.
