Seems like you guys are starting to crack down on the replys in the FS section which is a good thing but if you don't want question's ask can you make sure people add simple things like if the car is auto or manual.
And where they are located (State as well as suburb).

This will make things a whole lot easier and quicker for us buyers.

Thanks for your time. :D

perhaps a sticky with a reminder to include the relevant information is in order

An ad should not be released by the mods if it does not include the required info. Isn't that why you moderate them in the first place?

You have the guidelines as as sticky but no real guide lines, so the sticky just needs to be updated outlining the minimum info required.

I believe this has been brought up before.

moderation of posts was introduced to stop commercial posting which is still an issue

I think you'll find that valid questions - particularly those which ask on an issue many might be thinking, are let through.

It is mainly the "You have PM", or "So n So is selling this same thing for $x here...", or "You are an idiot for asking so much..." type posts that don't get through. Questions that were already answered or are obvious, also won't tend to get through.

While a policy can be written up, not everyone bothers to read them, and all this stuff is common sense anyway. If through leaving out obvious information a person makes it harder for themselves to sell an item, so be it.

OK, point taken here guys!! Although like most section of this forum normal common sense applies  , I have posted minimum requirements to be met when posting goods/cars/parts for sale. This points have been added to the existing guidline threads "stuck" at the top of each section of the classifieds.

CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions can be PM'd to me for review and updates.

Thanx for your feedback boys!
