VY SS Rims price

just wondering how much is to much for a VY SS wheel package.

What is a reasonable price range for these.

Falken, or Bridgestone.

NE1 recommend places in Vic that would be good to buy GENIUNE rims/tyres.

Dont know about melb but i was shopping around for wheels and tyres recently. I got quoted $225 list price per rim new. Before trade discount.

I also go quoted $125 per rim or $225 rim and tyre for second hand wheels with very low kmsand original tyres.

It pays to call around the local tyre shops

Holmart were selling 4 rims only for $950 a while ago, best price I could find.

I would buy these and then buy good quality tyres separately.

Are non genuine mags that common? I didnt think there were such a problem. From what you are saying it seems like you are suggesting that most people sell non geniune parts...

Have a look on eBay, search under VY, and someone is selling new factory (I guess, didn't have that good af a look) 18's, with bidding starting at $875 for four, no rubber.

The Local holden dealer are selling 17in i think VY SS wheels, not sure if they are 18in or not, for 1500 with tyres, brand new

i saw vx2 ss rims in shadow chrome at the dealer, they looked nice $1,200 rims only

You should be able to get brand new 17x8 rims from VYII SS for about $1650. As a giude on the 18" rims I got the following quote from jhp.com.au -The Genuine HBD J Series 18x8's are $2350 set of 4 rims only or $2700 with Falken tyres (235/45/18).

delftssute...those rims on Ebay are expensive fakes. You shouldn't pay anymore than $200/rim new for these. I know as I purchased a set of 18's not long ago from Ian Diffen, now known as The Tyre Factory (in QLD at least).

As for prices on new genuine rims I would think $300-$350 is the going rate. Tyres start from around $200. If you can do better than that brand new, grab them. Below are some prices from JHP on genuine rims I recently got...

I got a genuine second hand set of Ebay for $500 flat (without tyres). No gutter scrapes, no nothing. They look awesome on my sisters car.
