Hi there!
I have a aux camera system that would be useful for track days, security etc, it comprises of
1. Bullet style colour weatherproof camera
2. Stereo microphone
3. 3 Leads -
AV to Aux-In for digital camcorders,
5 metre lead for video and power to the camera
Short lead for the mic
4. Box containing - preamp for the mic, BNC - RCA adaptor, 12V SLA battery, home made unit, fused and has power switch for the preamp ONLY. Home made unit. About 1.5kg and a little smaller than a standard box of tissues
5. Aluminium foam case to house everything
$400 neg
I have a video of what you'd get when using a canon MV630i Click (http://voodoo.theddrzone.com/images/movies/sc.avi)
You will require a camcorder that supports Aux-In to record the stuff, or if you want to use it as security surveilance, a VCR will do.
I have used this setup about 5-6 times, selling it as I need money :/
cheers
