Camera is 4MP. Takes great shots on auto or features full manual controls for those that like to play with their photos (I do)
Arguably the best ultra-zoom digital on the market in a reasonably compact body.
See www.steves-digicams.com for positive reviews, or plenty of other sites.
The C-750 is the full metal body version.

Just checked ebay completed items and near locally warranted new cams like this are selling for 600 plus, WITHOUT the big memory card!

Man, I wish you would have sold this last xmas,
I bought one just before the holidays, $1099 + $175 for the card...
To any prospective purchasers.... this camera is awesome, takes great pics. and is easy to use. The fact that the thing has 10x optical zoom is even better and they are still selling for $999 new.
The only thing that came close in my comparison was the Canon 300D but its a big bugger to lug around and close to $2k.

Thanks for the comments! I love this camera...but its currently low hanging fruit on my priority list unfortunately. What surprises me is the quality of the images even on auto...I did back to backs with a Canon G3 at work, well known for its image quality, and in my eyes it was at least an equal. Back that up with the big zoom and full manual controls = a killer combination.
I did have a look at the Panasonic with the 12x lately but what a bulky camera that sucker is in comparison!
Ok, I'll give it 48 hours more on here and if no sale I'll let it run on EBay while I'm on holiday. I guess with a little patience I'll get more $$$ for it anyway :)
