WTB: VX SS Stereo (or swap)

Hi All,

I'm looking to swap or buy/trade my factory VTII stereo (in a Clubby) Tape-Radio-CD, for one out of a VX with Radio-CD.

I'm looking to do develop a mod to post on the forum that allows people to plug in a portable DVD player (IE: Laptop or those ones from Autobahn) and have the sound come through the factory system.

I would use mine, but the printing on the PCB of the VX unit is a lot clearer and i dont have all the tape mechanisim in my way when i'm prodding around inside.

I'm on a limited budget so a swap would be ideal? That might be wishful thinking.

I've still got the old stereo here out of my VU SS Ute (that'd be the same wouldn't it?)

It's just sitting there doing nothing. Only thing is I forgot to get the security code out of the manual before I traded it in....

I should ring the dealer tomorrow and see if they've still got it. Anyway, it's yours if you want it - it's just sitting in the shed doing nothing so make me an offer - just need to organise freight from Tassie...
