Who would have thought that a pretty much bog stock WH Caprice would make it into a Street Machine?? Not me for one! Well did I get a surprise when interest was shown to do an article on my car. Page 34 in issue 8 of Street Machines Commodores has an article on my baby and like any proud father I am stoked. The article is right on the money and details the happy and sad times myself and the Daisymobile have shared.

She probably isn't as worthy as some of the other cars that feature and I have not endured the blood, sweat and tears of most enthusiasts and car builders, however I am excited that I was given the opportunity to show her off. Many thanks to those who made it happen.

will be interesting to see when it is finished

Awesome, I think I have seen snippets of this car on Backyard Blitz & Renovation Rescue when they surprise the families and take them away and get stuck into "renovating"

Thank's to you Nick, I can claim that I have ridden a number of times in a real Street Machine article car. I thought that would never happen.

Your car may not be the most modified on these forums, but the way you have kept it is a real credit.

How about updating your avatar, surely you must be getting close to the 1/2 million kilometre mark.

Actually Street Commodores is a totally different publisher and has nothing at all to do with Street Machine. ( I made the same mistake previously)

For it's 500K I will run it down the 1/4 mile at Heathcote or Calder and see what it can do. At the moment I imagine that it will hit 500 000kms mid October. Stay tuned.

Then they can do a follow up with some pics of the rears a smoken and an even bigger grin when the Daisymobile (and you too Nick) pull a mid 13!
