The same day I picked up my new Commodore(LuminaSS) I was tested twice on the highway going home by a 350Z and BMW330. I was so tempted to school these guys specially when they kept pushin me but then I thought about the breakin period. So is it true that no kickdowns or hard breaking untill I get my first service done which is at 2500KM?
Also can anybody confirm that I got the 4L65-E in my 2004? or is it the still the same old 4L60-E. I tried to confirm that over here but nobody seems to know.
Is there anyway I can find out by myself?

Oh by the way.....I don't condone street racing. :yup:

Many threads on breaking in a car.
I personally let it warm up then don't baby it.
Give it some quick squirts at different rpm and warm it down.
Get your first service done and change diff oil as well.
Next step is take it to the strip and have fun in a controlled environment where you can challenge who you like legally :D
