Wanted to know if anybody has tried to do this and if so did they find it to be an expensive mod ?

let me know if u find out as i herd that vt onwards was pre loomed for the luxuory stuff as well, so intrested to see if its a straight changeover.

It is not a straight chnage over. You need a new heater box, all the vacum hoses, an ecc modual (sp) with the harnesses and an upgraded bcm.
I would not recommend it, it would br too bloody hard.

Very expensive, $5000+ and they don't work with low-series BCMs. There is a guy on the forum (can't remember his name) who is researching the fitting of a single-zone CC system to low series cars but he has been working on it for a couple of years and is an electrical engineer of some kind. My advice, just spin the dial.

it would not work as a base model ac is different than the climate control model fitting to top end cars.the climate controls run on a electric harness when the base r vacum controlled and dont have the sensors or gear motors to control them.any questions pm me
